Stewie's weekly adjustments and massages have done wonders in healing his back injury and improving his energy level. Dr.Jamie also has a vast knowledge of alternative therapies and approaches to helping Stewie lead a long and healthy life. And her magic doesn't stop at dogs. but includes humans as well. He is better balanced and really starting to develop over his topline. Dr. Jamie is kind, knowledgeable, and absolutely wonderful with her equine patients. My boy loves her!” Jaylyn B.

  • "My poor little dog, Cleo, took a terrible fall while trying to jump up on a chair. Later that day, I noticed her limping and not putting any weight on her right back leg. I called my vet, but they were booked up for 3 weeks and told me to call emergency care. I then remembered a good friend of mine had used animal chiropractic. I called their canine chiropractor, but he had retired and moved out of the area. He referred me to Dr. Jamie so I called and scheduled an appoinment for Cleo. On Cleo's first visit, Dr. Jamie did a thorough evaluation and determined where Cleo would need adjusting. After 3 adjustments, Cleo was walking again. It was like magic! Dr. Jamie arranged a follow up care plan and Cleo gets regular adjustments to keep her aligned and moving well. Dr. Jamie is a miracle worker!" - Martha L.

  • "My six year old French bulldog, Oliver, hurt himself and was diagnosed with intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD). The IVDD caused inflammaton of the discs in his spine and made Oliver unable to walk, stand, or hold himself up to go the the bathroom. The options were to operate on him with a 50% success rate, crate him to see if his body would heal iself, or euthanize him. Oliver did not repond to crating alone. Euthanizing my boy and surgery were not an option. After six weeks of not getting better, a friend recommmended Dr. Jamie. Who would have thought animal chiropractic was a real thing? On the first visit, Dr Jamie gave me hope. Hope that we would be able to help Oliver heal. After the second visit, Oliver was able to stand up by himself and go the the bathroom. After two weeks of treatment, Oliver was walking by himself and on the road to full recovery. Thanks to Dr. Jamie, Oliver is back to his old self and feeling great. Dr. Jamie gave me my boy back and I can't thank her enough. I have trusted Dr Jamie and Dr. Sarah with Oliver and his two French Bulldog sisters since then. They help keep them all in great health. Yay!" - Kristin R.

  • "Dr. Jamie is a wonderful Chiropractor, both for humans and horses. She has worked on me and my horses and made a big difference in how I felt and how my horses moved. Jamie has great people and horse skills. Our new horse, Atlanta was not excited about the process at first, but Jamie won him over! Thank you, Jamie!" Susan C.

  • "Rusty injured his spine when he slammed it against his doggy door while bolting out to chase a squirrel. The results of his injury started to show a couple of months later, causing his back leg to be stifen and lose strength. I could see how painful it was for him to get up from lying down, which then caused him to become less active. He gained a few extra pounds which made it worse. My once happy and actuve puppy became sad and despondent. I decided to postpone his surgery and brought him to Dr. Jamie to see if she could help him with chiropractic care. And Yes! She did. His adjustments and red light therapy brought him back to his normal happy, goofy, and active self. If you met him, you'd never know that he had suffered such a severe injury just a few months ago. Thank you Dr. Jamie!" - Daian O.

  • "If it weren't for chiropractic, I doubt that my dog would be walking right now. Her hips were declining rapidly and Dr Jamie's care has slowed that down significantly. I can see a positive difference in her every time she gets adjusted. I am so happy to have Hope back to living a happy and active life!" - Emmie S.

  • "My thirteen year old Shiba Inu and I visit Dr Jamie's practice for adjustments and massages together. Halwa always insists upon going first for treatment, otherwise there is a little tantrum and a week of the silent treatment. Halwa has made amazing progress and always looks forward to her care. We also love Pepper, Dr. Sarah's cute dog. Thank you Dr. Jamie and staff for all of the wonderful care!" - Maria L.

  • "Watching our thirteen year old dachshund get no relief from her three pain medications, I finally took her in to be put to sleep. I asked that first she be examined to see if anything had changed. As I waited sadly in my car, I recieved a phone call from our other vet asking if anyone had ever treated her neck and back as her records showed only medications. What a wonderful observation that was! And so our dear little Cali took a week's worth of muscle relaxants and was referred for canine chiropractic treatments with Dr Jamie. Within two weeks, our little girl was bouncing around, acting years younger, and always eager to see her human and canine friends at Dr. Jamie's office. We are beyond grateful and continue her adjustments on a regular basis to ensure that she lives a long and healthy life!" - Melissa K.

  • " I feel so fortunate to have Dr. Lucia working with my horses! She has them on a regular schedule for maintenance, as well as on an ‘on-call’ basis for emergencies, and she has become a trusted part of our horse care team as she not only helps address issues that we see or feel, but she also alerts us when she sees changes in movement or alignment. Dr. Lucia works with the horses in such a calm and gentle way that achieves good results in a relaxed and positive setting. While the results speak for themselves in our horses’ positive way of going, it is clear that they also enjoy the sessions as they eagerly walk to the gate to meet her each week!" Vanessa B.

  • "When CJ reached the age of 10, his back legs started to weaken and give out from underneath him. He became unsteady and unable to walk. I constacted Dr.Jamie and began a series of adjustments to help CJ on the road to recovery. Two months later, CJ is able to sit up, walk, run, and play. He is back to enjoying life. Thanks to Dr. Jamie and staff! I have my boy back!" - Jeanene M.

  • "Dr. Jamie is a thoughtful and dedicated chiropractor. She has performed miracles with my dachshund, Norman, who is fourteen and suffers from first and second lumbar IVDD. Norman was paralyzed and I thought he would never walk again. I started taking him to Dr. Jamie. Within 3 months, he was using both hind legs again and was no longer incontinent. Though his walk was slow and deliberate, he can now run using both of his hind legs, and he is taking half of his medications. Dr. Jamie and her staff have guided me through his rehabilitation which includes massage, infared light, red light and water therapy. They also have provided supplements and nutrional support which have been most helpful. Dr. Jamie really cares about Norman and wants to see him thrive. This is just the beginning of his recovery. Thank you to Dr. Jamie and her staff! Norman is back!" - Rene R.

  • "I needed a healer for my dogs and Dr. Jay reffered me to Dr. Jamie. My husband, myself, and our two dogs have beeen under the care of Dr. Jamie Lucia on and off for about five years. When I've had emergencies occur, Dr. Jamie has never let us down and always responds to any texts or phones asap - even after work hours. Dr. Jamie's experience and training is the best I've found in the Bay Area. I highly recommend her and her staff for canine and human care. Yay!" - Corrine M.

  • "I have a chihuahua/ terrier mix and our vet noticed in X-rays that he was getting some wear and tear in his discs that were probably going to result in needing surgery in the future. My dog was also getting hunchbacked, was starting to slow down on walks. and starting to show signs of discomfort in his lower extremities. My vet recommended Dr. Jamie and in a matter of weeks, we noticed that my eleven year old dog had his puppy energy back and his spine had straightened out! Tank hates going the vet, the groomer, and being around other dogs. But at Dr. Jamie's office, he's a absolutely okay with everything. He is a different dog! He loves seeing the staff and socializes with all their canine clients . Dr. Jamie and her staff are very caring and attentitive. They are absolutely the best! And Tank agrees!" - Norma B.

  • " Dr. Jamie has really helped Chess. She listens to what we are expecting in our rides and even watches her go!!! She takes the time with each horse and is very intuitive and knowledgeable. She has done a super job with my mare. She is like a new horse and we keep her under a regular monthly program to keep her going sound and strong!" Jaime E.

  • "Gary and I met Dr. Jamie Lucia in the summer of 2018 when our Quarter Horse injured himself. Starwood Equine Veterinary Service recommended that we seek Dr. Jamie's help. Our horse was so out of alignment that he was cross firing and couldn't stand any pressure on his back. Dr. Jamie worked on him for quite a while that first session. When she finished, I was able to walk my horse back to his paddock at a normal walk. To me, this was nothing short of a miricle. She visited him weekly for the next several weeks. With each adjustment, he became more limber and his movements became fluid with the energy he had before his injury. At the same time, Dr. Jamie worked on our Warm Blood who needed adjustments also. We have continud to have Dr. Jamie adjust both of our horses on a bimonthly basis for over 3 years. Gary and I get adjusted as well. We now walk straighter, putting equal weight on both legs as we walk. Our posture is much better, and we look forward to her treatments. As Dr. Jamie says, both the horse and the rider need to be in good alignment to make for the best possible rider/horse experience .I hope that you, too, will call Dr. Jamie for a consultation for your horse or horses. Her rates are reasonable, and I know you will be very pleased with the adjustments which she performs. After all, your horses are athletes and they truly deserve the very best in equine care." - Suan and Gary S.

  • "Snoopy is a Papilion and Bichon Frise mix. He is almost 14 years old and due to his nature, he enjoyed jumping and running for many years untl he injured his thoracic spine. You could visibly see his spine was crooked, he had difficulty walking and he was in a lot of pain. His condition was debiliating . For about a year, pain meds were the only treatment used to keep him comfortable, and he became inactive and sad. I was told by a vet that he could eventually become paralyzed. I was devestated to hear this tragic news. We've been with Dr. Jamie for about a year and after the first few sessions, I began to see improvements in his walking and in his demeanor. He stopped taking his medications after two months in treatment. We continue with his treatments to ensure he remains pain free and active. Snoopy is now an active and happy dog! Dr. Jamie has been a godsend!" - Marilyn C.

  • "If someone would have suggested “dog chiropractic” to me two years ago, I would have laughed at the idea. Then my sweet, 3-year-old rescue dog “Luna” took a hard tumble down a seacliff, injuring her pelvis and her ribs. Until that day, Luna had been the happiest, bounciest, most playful dog- people would see her and smiles would spread across their faces. Luna was put on rest for three months to heal- a hard task for a young, energetic dog, but she was so clearly in pain from her injuries, she accepted the new limitations. Even after her bed rest, Luna’s pain continued and this affected her personality. Gone was the happy and carefree puppy. Now she was guarded, protective, making light air-snaps to warn away strangers who ventured too close. It was hard to take her out in public as we had before, she was introverted, clearly not feeling well, and pulled away from people. When I lamented this change to an acquaintance in the healing profession, she asked me if I’d tried chiropractic with Luna and gave me Dr. Jamie’s card. With the 20% off the first visit, I thought “what the hell” and made an appointment. Dr. Jamie is clearly passionate about chiropractic and a natural with animals. She informed me that Luna would need a series of adjustments to be put back together, but that she would improve. Improve she did- dramatically. It was the third visit after her adjustment as we were leaving I looked down at Luna and she was perky and smiling. Then it hit me that I hadn’t seen her smile since before the accident- the gratitude and relief I felt at that moment is indescribable. I have been a total convert to the benefits of animal chiropractic ever since. For a pup like Luna, her quality of life is so improved from it that I can’t imagine not doing this for her. Luna loves Dr. Jamie and instinctively knows that the office visits help her. I recommend chiropractic to anyone who cares about an animal that is very active, injured, or getting older. It really makes a difference. We love having Luna under regular proactive chiropractic care!" Joelle M.
